St Pancras Renaissance Hotel
If you’ve ever travelled from Kings Cross St Pancras, you’ve probably admired this decadent Victorian hotel. It’s an 1873 Gothic Revival building, and it’s hard to miss. Looming over Euston Road, it’s ornate, eye-catching, and the perfect backdrop for a high-end shoot.
It’s been described as London’s most romantic building. We suggest you amp up the contrast. Bright, modern colours and themes against this classic backdrop are sure to make a mark.

Kew Gardens
Kew Gardens is the creme de la creme of botanical shoot locations. With over 320 acres of land, historical buildings and multiple beautiful conservatories, you have options.
You need to purchase a photography permit to shoot at Kew Gardens. If you can fork out, it’s worth it. Make sure you read the guidelines before - and book a permit at least 48 hours in advance. Find out more here.

Right on the River Thames, South Bank captures the best of London. Panoramic views, bustling crowds and the river flowing in the background.
There’s so much going on here - make the most of it. Head to the South Bank skatepark for a more urban feel. Underneath Waterloo Bridge, you’ll find the South Bank Book Market. This could be a more subtle backdrop for a shoot. Then you have a small stretch of beach with stunning views for something a little bit different to your usual city shots!

Coal Drops Yard has SO much to offer. A modern rework of a heritage setting, you can find a different vibe in each corner of this hotspot.
This area is a treat. Brick arches and winding cobbled streets contrast with modern lighting. It’s ideal for a cool and sophisticated shoot. Get there for golden hour for a truly ambient setting.

Head there midweek, before 10:00 or after 18:00. We recommend getting there for sunset to maximise those warm tones.
